YouTube – Robbie Rotten spot (Season 2) (correct spot posted now)

Ooo! Someone posted the Nick Jr. Lazytown spots on youtube, and I’m actually in one. In the middle of this one Robbie’s periscope pops up and that’s me. I mean, it’s only a pair of eyes on a stick, but it’s still fun.

They also have a song from the original stage show. It is interesting to see what design elements remain in the television show and which ones changed.

And finally this one
Most of the drumming by Ziggy are my hands, except the closeups. One of the grips on set was an actual drummer so, with Þor’s permission, I asked Riki to sub for me. He did a great job.

    Hello from Germany, it’s great to know, that you played the persicope in this scene (It’s a very very funny scene). I like to read your Diary, it shows me how much work it is to play a puppet. That’s very intersting and your (and the other puppeters) Work is great.

    I like the original stage, too. It’s at time my personal Hobby to find out all about the stage and it isn’t easy because I can’t islandic and I try to translate it.

    I can relate to your difficulty with Icelandic. It is a fiendishly difficult language. Your english is very good. Es ist viel besser als mein Deutsch. Ich erlernte, Deutsch in Schule aber vergaß es allen.

    So you saw the Robbie video too, did you? I didn’t know that the periscope was you, and the same goes with Ziggy’s hands. Stefan Karl seems to have enjoyed making that little video. Oh, and the by the way, we had a live chat with Mr. Stefansson back in January. He’s such a nice guy.

    There’s actually a few videos of the Latibaer play on YouTube. It’s pretty interesting to see what Lazy Town looked like before it was the TV show we know and love. And as for Glanni Glaepur, he doesn’t have a big chin; it’s just Stefan Karl in a purple bodysuit.
