Secure Form Mailer Plugin For Wordpress by Dagon Design

It’s the simple things in life that make me happy. I love the idea of ReCaptcha, which stops spam and helps identify the text in hard to scan books, so I’ve been wanting to implement it on my contact form for awhile. Finally, today, I found Secure Form Mailer Plugin For Wordpress by Dagon Design which does exactly that. It was easy to install and seems to work like a charm.

I’m with you on that one: a great new Wordpress plugin can make my entire day.

I actually installed a couple of new ones today, but I want to test the others out for a while before recommending them.

urgh! My jkrichard.com blog was (once) infested with comment spam. Despite taking every precaution under the sun (must register, must enter email, must..etc.etc) I ended up removing around 870 spam comments. :(

    I love WordPress.

    I hate spam.

So far Akismet is doing a pretty good job of catching spam comments. True, it occasionally snags a real one, but for the most part it’s kept my site pretty clean.
