MY BOOK, THE MOVIE: “Glamour in Glass”

Over at MY BOOK, THE MOVIE:  I was asked to dreamcast an adaptation of “Glamour in Glass”. It was fun to play the fantasy game of “Who would I cast” if I had the opportunity.

So if you’ve ever been curious about what Jane and Vincent look like in my head, here’s at least the Hollywood version of that.

  1. I’m not terribly familiar with most of the actors you selected for the hypothetical movie, but I love the idea of Nathan Fillion as Vincent. Three things happened immediately when I read this:

    1. My mental image of Vincent shifted to include a brown coat.
    2. I am now operating under the assumption that he brings Jane a cup of tea every morning (in much the same way that Castle always shows up with a coffee for Beckett).
    3. I can’t reveal this one because Valour and Vanity isn’t published yet, but it’s really funny in my head.

  2. OMG, now I shall swoon even more over Vincent.

The M. Chastain casting, however, is incredibly inspired. I read that and thought “D’oh! Of COURSE!”
