Moneygami Penguin

Paper Forest, which is fast becoming one of my favorite blogs, linked to this series of photos of Moneygami. You remember doing this, right? Making a frog out of a dollar bill. There’s a whole new level of skill happening with these. In particular, check out the way the graphics on the money gets reinvented in the new creation.

Makes you want to go fold a dollar bill, huh?

    Mary, my dear, may I just take this moment to thank you for doing the hard work of scouting out SO MUCH cool stuff like this? The moneygami link also contained a link to a page of “badass origami” from MIT students… Now Ben wants to go to MIT…

    Ohhhh, neato neato!

    I wonder if the MIT people are using Robert Lang’s software (yes, he wrote a program that will generate origami patterns).
