Tags: gay marriage, Journal, politics, Yay!Oregon becomes the ninth state to approve spousal rights in some form for gay couples, joining Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maine, California, Washington and Hawaii. Massachusetts is the only state that allows gay couples to marry.
Woot! Yeah, I saw this at the end of the day Friday while still at work.
Awesome!
Once both coasts are covered, I can only hope the inland states follow suit (yeah, I’m an optimist!).
