Avatars

By the way, I’m sure you’ve noticed the avatars that are now appearing next to your names in the comments. For those of you who are frequent commenters, which means arbitrarily means that you’ve commented five times, you can select your own avatar. There is an option to do that below the comment box. I love new toys.

And you both look lovely. You can also sign up for a gravatar and to upload your own Globally Recognized Avatar. It’ll turn up anyplace that uses gravatars.

Oooh, I love new toys too…
    I’ve picked one.

On an unrelated note, I finally got around to reading “Bound Man” in Twenty Epics (I started with that one). Very cool. I loved the armor that you could materialize with a thought.

Yay! I’m flattered that you started with mine. That armor is one of my oldest ideas. You’ve heard me mentioned my fatally flawed first novel? That armor is one of the pieces of salvage from the novel. Maybe someday, when I’m feeling brave or foolish I’ll post the thing in serial form. I don’t mind giving up publication rights to it since it will never, ever get published.

I’d love to read your first novel.

Hm. Let me think about this. The writing doesn’t suck, but the plot is definitely based on the A-Team meets D&D. And winged-cat-shape-shifting-aliens. sigh…
