I didn't count "held a lamb" but a baby goat on a Greek island ought to count, I should think. And what's so great about a praying mantis? I've held ladybugs, caterpillars, birds, and spiders in my hands. Things I'd add as being worthy of mention: sang at Carnegie Hall, jogged with Steve Prefontaine, been asked for my autograph.
