Today Rob and I did household stuff. He painted our dining room windows and I mowed the lawn. In the evening we went down to visit David and Amy for an evening of sushi and wine. It was really good to see them since they hadn’t been able to make it for the champagne tasting. I know, I know…I still haven’t posted pictures or the menu yet. Soon. Honest.

Rob and I are both lucky enough to have mothers who would be our friends even if they weren’t related to us. So you’d think, with such wonderful ladies, that we would have raised to know when Mother’s Day is. But that’s how good and modest they are, not seeking false praise or–
